Working with community leaders, small business owners, grassroots and non-profit organizations, policymakers, financial advisors and investors, we structure financing for projects that deliver meaningful, measurable benefits to highly distressed communities.

UFA only finances projects that create or maintain quality jobs, and we put our money where our mouth is. As a Certified B Corporation, we are always looking for ways to improve our business operations, contribute to environmental sustainability and show our employees how we value them. WE PAY IT FORWARD

Since 2002, UFA has donated more than $2 million in cash and in-kind support to local non-profits that strive to enrich the lives of the most vulnerable and underserved members of our society. We encourage everyone on our team to volunteer with nonprofits—and we pay them for up to 40 hours of volunteer time each year. We get together annually for all-staff volunteer days. And our management team lends time and expertise to community, governmental and nonprofit organizations by sitting on their boards and committees.
